With Kate Winslet’s film about Lee Miller’s war years on in cinemas, it was a perfect time to look at a selection of her work.

Lee Miller is the last artist in my six-week series of This Week’s Woman Surrealist when I posted a Note with an artwork every weekday.

The series was to celebrate the build-up to the publication of my novel Swimming with Tigers which fictionalises aspects of these women’s lives in the 1930s and you can read more on my website.
